Safelisting, also known as clearing, clearlisting, permissionlisting, whitelisting, or allowlisting, is the process of connecting your channel(s) or video(s) to your Epidemic Sound account. This indicates to other platforms that you are licensed to use Epidemic Sound's music and sound effects in your content.
Why is Safelisting important?
Safelisting helps avoid copyright claims when posting content. If a subscription or license has been purchased, it's crucial to safelist the channel(s) or video(s) using Epidemic Sound before posting.
How can content be safelisted?
Content can be safelisted directly in the Epidemic Sound account. For detailed guides:

What happens if a subscription is canceled?
Any content published while the subscription was active will remain cleared forever. However, new content cannot be posted with Epidemic Sound music if the subscription expires. The subscription can be reactivated at any time in the Epidemic Sound account.
What happens if a copyright claim is received?
There are different types of copyright claims, strikes, and takedowns. For more information, see the YouTube guide on copyright claims. The best way to avoid copyright claims is to ensure channel(s) or video(s) are correctly safelisted before publishing.
If a copyright claim is received and believed to be in error, refer to the guide on disputing claims.
