Note that DaVinci Resolve Studio is required to use any plugin. The free version of DaVinci Resolve does not support plugins.
- Close DaVinci Resolve Studio: Ensure DaVinci Resolve is not running before starting the installation.
- Download the Epidemic Sound Hub: Download the Epidemic Sound Hub for MacOS or Windows.
- Start Epidemic Sound Hub: Launch the program “Epidemic Sound Hub” from the applications folder.
- Install the plugin: Click the "Install" button next to “DaVinci Resolve Studio Plugin”.
- Open DaVinci Resolve: Once installation is complete, launch DaVinci Resolve. The plugin will be found under Workspace > Workflow Integrations.
- The Epidemic Sound plugin opens in a separate window, but can be pinned on top of DaVinci by clicking on the “pin” icon on the top right.
What should be done if the "Workflow Integrations" option is not visible in DaVinci Resolve?
Please double-check that DaVinci Resolve Studio is installed. The free version of DaVinci Resolve does not support plugins.
How to login to the Davinci Plugin
To download tracks, an active subscription is required. When attempting to download a track, a prompt will appear to log in or create an account within the plugin.
Follow the on-screen instructions to log in via a browser. Once the process is complete, a message will appear saying, "All done! You may close this window." The plugin will then show the logged-in status.
How is the plugin updated?
For the best experience, keep the plugin updated to the latest version. The program “Epidemic Sound Hub” should be kept on the computer to automatically receive updates when DaVinci Resolve is restarted.
What does the error message “DaVinci Resolve could not be found on your system” mean?
The plugin can only be installed if DaVinci Resolve is installed in the folder %PROGRAMDATA%\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\
What should be done if a Creator or Pro plan is active but the plugin cannot be used?
- Check the Account: Ensure the correct account is logged in by clicking on “Settings” (located under the three horizontal bars in the top right corner).

Can MCN users use the DaVinci Resolve plugin?
Currently, MCN users are not supported for file downloads in the Davinci plugin. Support for this is being worked on and is hoped to be available soon.

The download location can be changed by accessing Settings (found under the three horizontal bars in the top right corner).
