Epidemic Sound tracks can be used for more than 60 seconds in a video on TikTok, if you add the music to your video in an external, off-app editing software before uploading it to TikTok.
If you add it from TikTok's Music Library directly to your video, it currently only allows music usage up to 60 seconds per video. This means the total duration of any music used from their library must not exceed 60 seconds. Otherwise, TikTok will issue a copyright claim notification on your video, or mute it.
How to avoid getting claim or muted
To use a full-length track (or multiple tracks combined) longer than 60 seconds, you must add the music to your video in an external, off-app editing software before uploading it to TikTok. The sound will then play for the entire duration of the video (up to TikTok's 10-minute maximum).
Can I use Epidemic Sound tracks on TikTok?
Yes, you can use full-length Epidemic Sound tracks in your TikTok videos without the audio being muted after 60 seconds. This applies if you have an active license with us, and have safelisted your channel on your Epidemic Sound account.
